Maintenance and Operations
The maintenance and cleaning concerns of Bay City Independent
School District (BCISD) are dealt with by the following three
departments:
- Building Maintenance
- Custodial
- Grounds
Each of these departments experience some employee changes due to
family moves and retirement. Although we experience some turnover in
personnel, our goal remains constant; i.e., providing the best
educational environment possible for each student and staff member
within BCISD.
If you desire a position in any of these departments, visit us at
2801 15th Street and complete an application. Your application will be
placed on file for future consideration as job openings occur.
Vandalism Alert!
Every taxpayer desires to have tax money purchases
last as long as possible. Vandalism is a crime which eats away at
everyone's tax dollars. The repair of property is in many cases more
expensive than original construction cost. At the very least, vandalism
causes duplication of the original expense. Vandalism can be as serious
as a building break-in and destruction of property or as minor as an
open water faucet, but all vandalism is a terrible waste of funds. You
can help preserve your school district property and your tax dollars by
reporting vandalism.
If you happen upon an act of vandalism I would
appreciate your phone call. You can reach me at 245-0053 during business
hours and at 244-8890 after hours.
If you witness vandalism in progress during school
hours, call 245-5771 (Bay City High School), 241-6093 (Bay City I.S.D.
Police), or 245-1856 (Blackcat Crime Stoppers) to report the situation. If you witness vandalism in progress
after school hours, call 245-8500 (Bay City Police Department) to report
the situation.
