Kindergarten Activities

Kindergarten classes recognized and celebrated the 100th Day of School with all sorts of activities that reinforced the number "100." Students created their own personal trail mix by counting out sets of 10 food snacks until they reached 100, filling their zipper baggies with a variety of cereals, crackers, candies, dried fruit, and more. Students strung cereal onto strings or beads onto ribbons in sets of 10 to create their "100" necklaces. Many wore "100 Day" crowns. Games included rolling dice to move toward "100" and coloring 100 gumdrops.
Students also wrote down what they would buy if they had 100 dollars.
