H.E. Buddy Visits Cherry Elementary Second Grade

H.E. Buddy has adopted our second grade classes this year and has come to visit the students to remind them of the benefits of healthy habits and exercise. On April 13, 2011 he came to the school and worked out with our students. They warmed up with stretches and then exercised for a short time before finishing with a run around the playground. H.E. Buddy then visited with the students about healthy habits at home and in the classroom. The students enjoyed seeing H.E. Buddy at our school and getting to exercise with him. The children also received a stepometer to keep track of the number of steps that they take in a day and then record them in their diary. Thank you H.E. Buddy for taking the time to spend with us.
