Our primary goal is to transport eligible students to and from school safely and efficiently by providing the highest quality of support for the educational programs by delivering the best possible transportation services. To accomplish this goal, there are responsibilities and rules for each member involved in the transportation system, staff, students and parents. We ask parents to become familiar with the rules, and procedures and to discuss them with their child. The Bay City Independent School District boundary is approximately 169 square miles, and currently operates 48 school bus routes and delivers 500 students to and from school daily. Last year we accumulated more than 250,000 miles on our school bus fleet. The Bay City Independent School District offers monthly training and safety meetings for its drivers in an effort for us to deliver the highest level of transportation services to students, parents and staff.
Thank you,
