Our Mission

"Bay City ISD shall provide students and members of the community with a learning environment which encourages personal thinking and reasoning skills enabling them to become thoughtful, productive, and self-fulfilled citizens."

 

 

Our Goals

BCISD will provide quality teaching and rigorous learning in academic and vocational areas with an emphasis on mastery of reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.

BCISD will provide a safe and disciplined environment which is conducive to learning.

BCISD will place a continued emphasis on providing students with highly qualified teachers and varied ethnic role models.

BCISD will insure fiscal responsibility by prudent application of all district funds.

BCISD will communicate with and actively solicit input from staff, students, parents , and the community.
