All new students entering BCISD shall fill out a questionnaire regarding Tuberculosis status. 

Tuberculosis is classified as an infectious disease. Most infections come from an adult and only certain high-risk conditions contribute to the spread of Tuberculosis. The following is appropriate for the surveillance of Tuberculosis. These three factors locate 95% and is cost and mentally effective.

Persons that fit any of the following should be tested with P.P.D.   High-risk persons include:
1. Foreign-born students

2. Students with an adult family member who has the infectious disease

3. Migrant familly with no constant medical care.

4. Students enrolling who have lived outside of the USA for two weeks or longer.
