Letter from the Superintendent

Hello Blackcat Family,

We are excited to share some great news from the recent Board Meeting. The BCISD Board of Trustees has approved the continuation of our Teacher Recruitment Program, providing current staff members with the opportunity to earn additional compensation for helping us attract outstanding educators to Bay City ISD.

Current staff members may receive a $500 referral incentive for recommending a certified teacher who is hired to join our team. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. Referral payments will be issued after the teacher is hired and meets the program requirements.

Teacher recruitment season is underway, and we encourage you to begin referring qualified candidates today. Please review the program guidelines for additional details and contact the Human Resources Department with any questions.
