Just Say Yes - Youth Equipped to Succeed - AIM for Success Program
The State Board of Education gave final approval on November 20, 2020, to the new health education TEKS. The new health education TEKS will be effective on August 1, 2022, and will be implemented in classrooms beginning with the 2022–2023 school year. Reproductive Health is now included as a part of Grade 6th -12th Health TEKS. Parents must opt-in for their student to participate in the program.
The BCISD Student Health Advisory Committee recommended the program Aim for Success, provided by Just Say Yes - Youth Equipped to Succeed. This program was approved by the school board in May 2022. The program will be presented to all students who have parent permission, Grades 6th-12th. Parents will be required to opt-in to this program. Students who do not have parental permission will not attend.

Sexual Health Awareness - Equipping Students to Make Healthy Choices
This program includes age-appropriate presentations for grades 6 through 12.
The program demonstrates how to stay focused and avoid distractions to help the student achieve their dreams and goals. The program discusses Teen Pregnancy, Contraceptives, Beware of Sexual Abusers, STDs, Emotional Hurts, Sexting, Setting Boundaries, and more.
