About the Strategic Planning Committee

Bay City ISD invites you to serve on our Strategic Planning Committee, which will play a direct role in shaping the district’s future. Committee members will review financial data, evaluate facilities and program needs, and develop thoughtful, fiscally responsible recommendations.

No prior financial or educational experience is required, but members are expected to attend all scheduled meetings and contribute thoughtfully. You will receive comprehensive information from internal and external professionals, and a neutral facilitator will guide discussions to ensure balanced, informed decision-making.

To create a manageable and representative committee, not all submissions will result in membership. Selection will consider a wide range of factors to ensure the committee reflects the diversity and varied perspectives of our community. Even if you are not selected, your input helps ensure a variety of voices are considered, and we encourage you to stay engaged with district initiatives in other ways.
