    Willy Wonka gum-machine video

Bay City High School Principles of Applied Engineering Class, taught by Daniel Tinus, created a prop for the BCHS Dungeoneers’ production of the musical Willy Wonka in November 2018. During construction of the prop, which was a faux chewing-gum producing machine, the students learned about gear ratios and inputted their data into AUTOCAD. Additionally, the students learned how to wire. The entire prop cost only $15 as the students recycled materials they already had in their shop.
