The Bay City ISD Fall Semester starts August 20th!
What will school look like in the fall? What are my child’s options? How is my child going to be kept safe? We understand that Bay ISD families and staff have many questions regarding our Return to School for the fall semester. Through your feedback, as well as continued guidance from the State of Texas, the Texas Education Agency and local health authorities, we are prepared to safely reopen Bay City ISD schools for the 2020-2021 academic year. Bay City ISD families will have the option of selecting in-person instruction at school with COVID-19 safety protocols in place, or virtual instruction at home.
Bay City ISD students will begin the school year in a virtual formal for approximately three weeks, with those students choosing in-person learning on campus by Sept 10th at the latest. Chromebooks & hotspots will be distributed prior to August 20th.

Please keep in mind that all plans are subject to change pending State guidance as well as local health conditions.
Important things to do NOW:
1. All students - new and returning - must pre-register online via our Parent Portal. Find out more at our Registration link.
2. Families who will be choosing the Virtual at-home instructional model after we switch to the two options must register via the online Virtual Registration Form.
(If you are choosing in-person at school learning, there is no separate registration for that. It is assumed you are choosing in-person at school learning if you do not register online for Virtual learning on the Virtual Registration Form.)
3. Want to ride the bus? All new & RETURNING riders must register online - find details at our Transportation Link.
