Marissa Wendel has been promoted to principal at Linnie Roberts Elementary. She served as assistant principal last year at Roberts.
Wendel said, “I'm beyond honored with the opportunity to transition from Assistant Principal to Principal and continue leading a collaborative campus with an exceptional staff as we keep our students' safety and education at the forefront for all decisions. I knew when I started working in Bay City ISD in 2010 that I wanted to make an impact in a positive and encouraging way for my students' lives daily. As the Linnie Roberts principal, I have that opportunity on a much larger scale. I'm most excited about creating new learning opportunities for our students in the upcoming school year.”
