BCHS Robotics team qualifies 2 teams to Region

BCHS Robotics qualifies for Region

 

The Bay City High School Robotics Team has advanced to Regional Competition after their strong finish at the Palacios Meet February 2nd, where they took 10 of the 20 awards given at the meet.

 

Despite a few major equipment failures near the end, the team still managed to perform well in Palacios and advance to the next round. To qualify for Regions, teams had to finish in the top five. BCHS had two teams finish in the top five – the Decepticats and the Avenge-a-cats.

 

The BCHS teams earned the following awards:

The team has accumulated four trophies so far this year.

 

The Region Meet is February 23rd at San Jacinto College.

 

BCHS Robotics Teams are the Decepticats: Alexandra C, Pablo F, James G, Vaughn G, Matthew H, Zachary H, Hannah J, Justina L, Hunter P, Joslynn S,  and Tommy V. Avenge-a-cats members are: Angel B, Robert B, Jessica F, Michael M, Brittany M, Orlando M, Ricky Pa, Jordan P, Carlos R, Pedro V, Jonathon Z and Alberto R.

 

Coaches are Michael Ashleman and Brian Zuniga.
