Bay City ISD’s Regginald “Hook” Jefferson has been selected as the Bay City ISD “You’ve got heart” honoree for February.

This employee recognition award is given to staff who go beyond their “job description” in helping students and staff, who epitomize the concept “team player,” and who put others first.

BCISD staff submit nominations, and Jefferson’s name was selected from among all those submitted. BCISD Director of Maintenance Ron Carroll wrote:
“Hook is always willing to help anyone and always is looking ahead so things get taken care of in a timely manner. He’ll do jobs that no one else wants to do. He is dedicated to his responsibilities and cares about providing a clean learning environment for staff and students. He works well with all staff and we appreciate his leadership.”

Jefferson was awarded a restaurant dining certificate and the traveling trophy, donated by Ad Vantage Specialties. To learn more about the “You’ve Got Heart” program and/or to become a program sponsor, contact Allison  Sliva or 979-401-1083.
