Moya promoted to Assistant Superintendent

Bay City ISD’s Lisa Moya has been promoted to Assistant Superintendent, effective July 1st.

 

Moya has served as the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) for BCISD for the last two years. She has worked 26 years in Bay City ISD and has 28 years of experience working in public education.

 
Moya has a diverse range of public ed experience in Bay City ISD. She has worked as the Supervisor at MCES (Matagorda County Educational Services Special Education Cooperative); is a former Assistant Principal at Bay City High School; served as Principal at McAllister Intermediate; was the district’s Federal Programs Coordinator for three years; and also has experience as a Special Education Counselor and Elementary classroom teacher.

Lisa is the daughter of Mr. John Fraley and the late Carolyn Fraley, of Clearville, Pennsylvania. She is married to Alfred, and they are the proud parents of Megan, a student at Bay City Junior High.
