ParentSquare for Parents
Bay City ISD has adopted the ParentSquare platform to streamline communications at the district, school, and classroom levels. This includes email, text messages, and app notifications. ParentSquare will automatically create an account for each parent or guardian using the email address and/or phone number you provided to your school, which is stored in our Skyward Student Information System.
Activate Your Account
Your child(ren)'s school has your email and/or phone number in their records and they will initiate the setup process with you. They will send you an invitation email and/or text with a link to activate your ParentSquare account.
The ParentSquare app is available in both iOS or Android stores. Downloading the mobile app is the easiest way to receive all Posts, Events, Sign Up Requests, Photos and Files.
You can also install the ParentSquare app on your smartphone and follow the prompts to sign up.
Tip! Use your email or the phone number that you have provided to your school and is in our Skyward Student Information System to set up your account otherwise ParentSquare will not be able to link your account to your student's information. Your email/phone number must match contact details in the school's database for this to work.
Tip! All data for ParentSquare pulls from Skyward Q. If your contact details aren't recognized, contact your campus to get them updated. After they update your information in their database, the new contact details will appear in ParentSquare after the next daily sync, and you will be able to create an account.
